Col di Rosa
Col di Rosa is a stone farmhouse in Southern Tuscany situated between the walled cities of Cortona and Citta di Castello.
The house is the last in a tiny hamlet with blacksmith and carpenter as neighbours and has been restored using local craftsmen and traditional materials.
The house nestles in the valley surrounded by wooded hills and is two miles from the village of San Leo Bastia where there are 2 bars each with shop attached.
The Accommodation
The enchanting self-contained ground floor apartment sleeps four, the main bedroom opens onto a covered arched courtyard with views of the Tuscan hills.
The Local Area
The historic cities of Assisi, Siena and many others are within reasonable distance and full of works of art and architectural delights.
The owners are experienced cooks and would be happy to provide meals from local produce if required.
